Block seminar image finding (theory + practice)
How do I get an idea for a picture? How can I avoid standing still in the artistic?
Artistic work can be enriched by effective and inspirational image-finding methods.
In this block seminar, we will introduce you to such methods of image finding, which you will then implement directly in practice (painting, drawing, photography, printing).
Each of the 13 image-finding methods is presented separately each week and extensively explored experimentally.

- Synthetic image-finding method
- tonality
- structure search
- sequencing
- Art History Research
- Blind drawing / painting / photographing
- Development of structural formulas
- Objective work analysis
- spontaneity method
- degrees of reality
- Autonomous image construction
- Heteronomous image structure
- Artistic concept development
We will introduce these image-finding methods to you one after the other and discuss the possibilities of independent application.
We then practice each individual method and are amazed at the variety of possibilities to come up with innovative artistic ideas in an almost playful way.
The block seminar consists of 13 events. The series of events runs for 13 weeks.
